Jan 17, 2025

TORONTO, ONTARIO (January 17, 2025) — Blue Door Agency (Blue Door) announced today its acquisition of Bridge Digital (Bridge), a dynamic Toronto-based agency known for its data-driven and results-oriented digital marketing solutions.

With expertise in digital strategy, website development, social media management, and SEO/SEM, Bridge will deliver expanded services and bolster Blue Door’s client portfolio with the addition of key accounts including Lactalis Canada, California Wines, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, World’s Finest Chocolate, and many more.

Blue Door, founded in 2017 and home to more than 20 seasoned marketing professionals, has a proven track record of campaign success with notable clients such as Ripley’s Aquarium, Canadian Opera Company, and Longo’s. The team rounded out 2024 with high-profile advocacy work for the Toronto Police Association which was regarded as a sector-defining effort.

“As an agency, we cannot stay in a comfort zone which is why we’re always on the lookout for exceptional talent and ideas to keep Blue Door at the forefront of marketing excellence,” said Laura Silver, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Blue Door. “This acquisition achieves that goal and addresses evolving client expectations to offer integrated work across Digital, PR, and Design. When we are truly versatile, we are in a position to meet the needs of our clients in more meaningful ways.”

Bridge’s founders, Andrew Verescak and Rob McLaren, and their team joined Blue Door on January 2nd, 2025. Verescak assumed the role of Chief Growth Officer, and McLaren became the agency’s first Chief Marketing Officer.

“As Chief Growth Officer my focus is on building our client roster, cross-selling our current portfolio and expanding into new - and unexpected- markets,” said Verescak. “Put simply, joining our teams means more impactful results for our clients and allows us to define the future of marketing together.”

Verescak and McLaren joined at an important growth stage for Blue Door where the agency has been awarded major contracts and is recognized as one of the fastest growing agencies in Canada. In February 2024, the agency was recognized as Startup Business of the Year by the Canadian SME National Business Awards.

“Joining agencies represents more than just a business decision; it’s the perfect blend of creativity, strategy, and innovation. With this partnership, our capabilities extend across the entire marketing mix, and I couldn’t be more excited to work and grow with such a talented team,” said McLaren.

This marks a new chapter for Blue Door and underscores its commitment to deliver a fully integrated marketing suite that will help clients scale, adapt and succeed.
